This Light Curing Putty by Phrozen was designed for the purpose of restoring broken parts into their original state and filling gaps and holes in models. The putty has a gel-like consistency and is meant to be applied to cured resin and plastic. Once cured, the putty can be sanded and painted to conceal the retouched section.

The putty cures rapidly rapidly under UV light exposure in 15 seconds although this will largely depend on the thickness of the section to be cured. This fast curing time allows for quick and efficient modifications of the model.

The application of the Light Curing Putty is very easy to use thanks to its gel consistency and the provided wooden stick. The putty can be cured with any curing lamp with LED wavelengths of ≥395 nm but it is recommended to use the Phrozen Cure Beam for this task since it can reach even in narrow intersections and inner parts of the model.

The Phrozen light curing putty should be applied in the following way:

  1. First, the surface of the part to be repaired should be cleaned from any dust and impurities.
  2. Next, the putty should be applied with the provided wooden stick.
  3. The excess of the putty should removed and smoothed with alcohol.
  4. The part should be exposed to Phrozen Cure Beam or other curing lamp with LED wavelengths of ≥395 nm for about 15-30 seconds (curing time varies depending on the part's thickness). For the best results, a distance of 1 cm should be kept to ensure that the light can enter through the bottom of the model.

The light curing putty should be stored in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight. When handling the putty, the user should always wear protective gloves to avoid burns or skin irritation. More technical and safety information on this product can be found in the Downloads section.
