The PLA Starter Glow in the Dark Refill from Rosa3D is the ideal filament for those looking to combine 3D printing ease with a striking visual effect. This phosphorescent filament glows in the dark after exposure to natural or artificial light, emitting a long-lasting greenish glow that transforms figures, toys, gadgets, and decorative projects into unique and eye-catching pieces. Its PLA finish maintains low shrinkage, excellent layer adhesion, and detail accuracy, ensuring professional results in every print.

The PLA Starter Glow in the Dark combines the printing ease of PLA with the ability to create amazing luminous effects. It produces no unpleasant odors during extrusion and provides structural integrity even in complex parts. Its biodegradable composition, derived from renewable resources such as corn starch and sugarcane, makes this filament an eco-friendly option for educational, decorative, or creative projects.

This Glow in the Dark filament allows you to create decorative figures, personalized gadgets, jewelry, and luminous toys with a professional finish. Its phosphorescent effect, combined with the ease of use and sustainability of the refill format, makes it the perfect choice for those seeking impactful, creative, and environmentally friendly 3D prints.

The refill format of this filament promotes sustainable 3D printing by reducing plastic use. For efficient handling, it is recommended to use the Rosa3D Masterspool, a reusable spool made from recycled PC, with 90% less carbon footprint than a conventional spool. This masterspool is heat and impact resistant, compatible with filament dryers and AMS systems, ensuring a consistent and reliable filament flow during 3D printing.

The recommended printing temperature for PLA Starter ranges between 190-225 ºC, and the optimal bed temperature is 40-60 ºC. The recommended part cooling fan setting is 70-100%.

Proper storage of PLA Starter filament is essential, as processing a wet filament can cause polymer chain degradation, brittleness, poor layer adhesion, stringing, and oozing. It is best to store the filament in a sealed bag with desiccant or in a vacuum-sealed filament container.

If the filament absorbs excess moisture, it should be dried in a filament dryer for 4 hours at 50 ºC.

Use of this product in the Bambu Lab AMS system is not recommended.
