To maximize the shine and quality of prints with PLA Silk+, it is recommended to reduce the printing speed of the outer wall. Thanks to the improved layer adhesion of Bambu PLA Silk+, this speed reduction does not compromise the strength or bonding of the layers, ensuring an elegant and professional finish.

It is essential to dry the filament before use to ensure a uniform finish and avoid problems during printing. Recommended methods include: in a drying oven at 55°C for 8 hours or on the bed of an X1 printer at 65°C–75°C for 12 hours. After use, it is advisable to store the filament in a dry environment to maintain its quality and consistency. For the best quality on the top surface of the parts, it is suggested to use a concentric pattern on the top layers. This setting optimizes the appearance of the outer layers, providing a smoother and more uniform finish, ideal for decorative models and parts requiring high aesthetics.
