The exceptional performance of the HT90 is further enhanced by a proprietary cooling solutions developed in-house, ensuring chamber temperature optimized for each 3D printing material and optimal material flow with the high-flow printhead. Furthermore, the Pro HT90 printer counts with an advanced closed-loop HEPA air filtering system for user safety.

All the technical specifications of the Pro HT90 printer will be discussed in detail below.

Features in detail

Specialized printheads

The Prusa Pro HT90 printer comes with two specialized direct-drive print heads designed for efficiency, versatility and great performance with flexible materials. These print heads are magnetically held, allowing for quick and easy exchanges. By simply detaching the arms and disconnecting the cable from the top of the printer, users can switch to a different extruder within minutes.

The High-Flow print head, reaching up to 300 ºC, is ideal for PLA, PETG, and PC. It features an ultra-fast flap cooling system for precise airflow adjustments, enabling exceptional overhangs and improved inter-layer adhesion. This head includes a high-flow REVO nozzle.

The Delta kinematics ensure optimal performance even at high printing speeds

The High-Temp print head, which can reach temperatures up to 500 ºC, is designed for high-end materials such as PEEK, PEKK, and PEI. It features an abrasion-resistant nozzle, making it suitable for demanding applications requiring robust performance and reliability. Both printheads deposit a perfectly smooth and consistent first layer with no manual adjustments thanks to the precise Loadcell sensor, ultraprecise offset calculations, and advanced Delta kinematics.

Actively heated chamber

The Prusa Pro HT90 features an actively heated chamber that reaches up to 90 ºC, maximizing the potential of materials like ABS, ASA, PA, PCCF, Flex, and more. This heated insulated environment ensures unparalleled layer adhesion and print quality, preventing warping and layer delamination, even for large objects. An innovative servo flap system allows for precise airflow redirection within milliseconds, enabling flawless overhangs with minimal supports.

Additionally, the HT90's closed-loop air recirculation system with a HEPA filter maintains a clean chamber, while an automatic intake flap manages temperatures for various materials. Key components are placed outside the heated chamber to prolong their lifespan, ensuring optimal performance for demanding applications.

Printing bed and surface

The Prusa Pro HT90 features a print bed that can reach a maximum temperature of 155 ºC, paired with a removable textured magnetic PEI steel sheet. This setup provides excellent adhesion for a wide variety of materials and ensures easy print removal once the job is complete.

The high bed temperature capability is particularly advantageous for advanced 3D printing applications, allowing for optimal performance with high-temperature materials such as PEI and PEEK. The removable magnetic sheet simplifies maintenance and enhances the overall user experience, making it ideal for both complex industrial projects and routine prints.

User interface, connectivity, and additional features

The Prusa Pro HT90 offers a user-friendly experience with its large 7-inch touchscreen, enabling quick setup and easy operation. Users can start printing within minutes of unpacking, thanks to fast preparation processes and straightforward instructions. The sliding door of the printer features a handle with a lock for safety, the printer is equipped with a handly power on/off button above the screen, and a status light below the screen.
