Extruder for Bambu Lab 3D printers

The extruders for the X1, P1, and A1 printer series are creations of the renowned company Bambu Lab, specialising in the manufacture of high-quality 3D printers. These extruders allow for greater precision and durability in parts. All of these extruders use a direct drive system, are made from high-quality materials, and are compatible with 1.75 mm filament.

X1 Series Extruder

This extruder is compatible with the X1 and X1C printers. It is a hardened steel extruder equipped with dual hardened steel gears with a reduction ratio of 9:53, providing greater extrusion force, preventing slippage, and enhancing abrasion resistance. Additionally, this extruder includes a sensor to detect filament breakage, which can help prevent print failures and improve overall printing efficiency.

Thanks to its hardened steel gears, this extruder is ideal for using engineering-grade filaments, even those reinforced with carbon or glass fibres, such as PET-CF, PAHT-CF, PA6-CF, PLA-CF, PETG-CF, PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PC or TPU. Installation instructions can be found on the Bambu Lab Wiki page.

P1 Series Extruder

This extruder is compatible with the P1S and P1P printers. It features dual stainless steel gears (ratio of 9:53), which increases extrusion force and prevents slippage. Therefore, it is suitable for common 3D printing filaments, such as PLA, PETG or TPU, among others.

This extruder also includes a sensor that supports filament breakage detection, helping to prevent print failures and enhancing overall print efficiency. It is recommended to retain all screws from the original extruder unit for a successful replacement, as this extruder does not include replacement screws and parts. A1 Series Extruder

This extruder is compatible with the A1 and A1 Mini printers. It consists of dual hardened steel gears, which facilitate filament feeding into the hotend, provide a higher extrusion power, help prevent material slippage, and improve abrasion resistance. Thanks to its high abrasion resistance, this extruder can handle engineering-grade filaments, such as PA CF or PA GF.

This extruder features a filament cutter for unloading or changing filaments, and an extruder motor that provides the necessary power for the extrusion process. Also included are 2 M2-2 screws, 2 BTS-3 screws, and 2 M3-10 screws. Installation instructions can be found on the Bambu Lab Wiki page.
