Micro Swiss is an American company founded with the idea of providing new products and highly engineered innovations to the 3D printing industry. Initially focused on manufacturing high quality and durable brass nozzles, the company has continuously developed its product range.
The Micro Swiss direct-drive NG extruder is specially designed for Creality CR-10 and Ender 3 printers. Thanks to its Bevel Gear design, the direct-drive NG extruder features one of the shortest filament paths (less than 41 mm) and also allows the motor to be positioned in an ideal cantilevered position (further increasing the rigidity of the assembly) for more complex prints.
With an all-metal body, the Direct Drive Micro Swiss NG™ extruder can withstand high temperatures. However, attention must be paid to the type of printer and hardware used. Its Dual Gear drive system consists of sprockets made of precision-machined hardened steel (ensuring high durability and strength), which drive the filament.
The extruder comes with the All Metal hotend, an all-metal hotend of very high quality. The heat break is machined entirely from grade 5 titanium, which ensures high insulation and low thermal expansion. The heating block is made of aluminium and the nozzle is made of brass.
The benefits of upgrading the original extruder to the Direct Drive Micro Swiss NG™ extruder are worth mentioning:
The Direct Drive Micro Swiss NG™ extruder for Creality CR-10 and Ender printers is the perfect extruder for users who want to improve the quality of their prints and be able to produce complex parts.
