Blue Basic PLA filament (1.75mm or 3mm) is a European filament made for 3D printers with NatureWorks INGEO 3D850 material with improved properties. The 1kg spools of PLA Basic Blue (1.75mm or 3mm) are compatible with multiple types of 3D printers. PLA is a biodegradable plastic that is obtained from natural resources, specifically obtained from the starch extracted from corn, beets and wheat. With the Blue Basic PLA INGEO 3D850 you can realize pieces with mechanical properties very close to those of the ABS with the advantage that it does not suffer warping and it is not necessary to provide a 3D printer with hot bed. In addition, this new NatureWorks INGEO 3D850 raw material has a higher temperature resistance than the standard 4032D PLA as it supports up to 85 °C instead of 55 °C. On the other hand, this new PLA Basic INGEO 3D850 crystallizes at a faster speed, which allows the printing speed to be increased by up to 50% and to obtain a better printing resolution with respect to other materials.
Blue PLA Basic (1,75mm or 3mm) is one of the most widely used 3D printing today because no apparent damaging gases because it is not necessary to have a 3D printer with hot bed base which makes it very easy to print materials with him. If you are interested in learning more about this material you can read more on this link.
Blue PLA Basic (1,75mm or 3mm) is the easiest material 3D printers for print on FDM/FFF Technology. With Blue PLA Basic (1,75mm or 3mm) you can get brighter figures than using the ABS while this is stiffer and stronger. In addition Blue PLA Basic (1,75mm or 3mm) filament is a permanent, odourless polymer. The extrusion temperature to print with this Blue PLA Basic (1,75mm or 3mm) must be between 190 and 220 ºC. In a tab usage tips you can view more interesting information for optimal results using Blue PLA Basic (1,75mm or 3mm) on your 3D printer.
Can´t drill, paint or sanding as the ABS but is a more stable and easier to print plastic this. If you wish to obtain special surface finishes in Blue PLA Basic (1,75mm or 3mm) use coating designed specifically for 3D printing you'll find in the accessories category called XTC-3D. For higher yields of 3D printing is advisable to cover the bed of the printer with Blue Tape, BuildTak, or 3DLac you can find in the store fixtures.
