HARZ Labs Model Resin is a resin for all types of 3D resin printers developed to print parts that need to withstand great mechanical stress.

HARZ Labs is a resin manufacturer with extensive experience in chemical products, especially polymers, which develops and produces high quality materials for all types of 3D resin printer technologies (DLP / LCD, SLA, CJP and others).

HARZ Labs Model Resin is developed to offer the best mechanical properties while maintaining great ease of printing. One of the highlights of this resin is the low contraction, less than 0.5%, contraction that the parts suffer during the manufacturing process, thus obtaining very precise models in a simple way.

HARZ Labs Model Resin has a Shore D hardness of 85-92 but at the same time shows elasticity, really useful properties for printing durable and non-fragile models, such as semi-permanent molds for melting rubber. This is also possible thanks to its high heat resistance, withstanding long working intervals with temperatures up to 100 °C or 180 °C for short-term work. If all this is not necessary, HARZ Labs Model Resin has a wide range of colors and its lighter models (white, gray and etc.) can be modified with certain dyes to achieve the color desired by the user.

In the section on printing properties, its relatively low density stands out, which provides high precision for short printing times, as well as facilitating the time spent cleaning the printer. Unlike other universal resins on the market, HARZ Labs Model Resin is odorless and does not cause irritation, so it can be used in any space that has natural ventilation, without the need for forced ventilation. This is due to the fact that this resin does not contain volatile components such as solvents, monomers or other irritant compounds. Another rare advantage is its great stability, since the resin can be left in the tank for long periods of time without sedimentation or gelatinous areas.

All the previous properties make HARZ Labs Model Resin a very interesting material to manufacture final pieces that need to withstand great efforts. But this is not all, the biggest advantage of all is that this resin is universal, since it is available for 3D resin printers that use SLA (Form 2) or LCD / DLP technology making it easier for users to find new alternatives to print any Type of part in any type of 3D resin printer:  Formlabs, PEOPOLY, UniZ, WANHAO, zortrax, ANYCUBIC, ASIGA, B9 Creator, FLASH FORGE Moon Ray, PRUSA.

Once a print is finished, the part of the manufacturing platform must be removed with the metal spatula, being careful not to damage the surface of the platform. Then, the piece is immersed in IPA for 5 - 15 minutes, depending on the color of the resin and the size of the piece, to remove the non-solidified resin from those of the outer walls of the piece. After that time, pressurized air should be applied to the piece until it is completely dry. To achieve the maximum properties that HARZ Labs Model Resin can provide, it is necessary to cure the resin for 15 - 30 minutes at a temperature of 40 - 60 ºC (eliminate internal stresses) in a curing center (Form Cure) that has a wavelength 405 nm.

Before removing the parts from the manufacturing base, the user must be equipped with a series of safety measures. The use of gloves is recommended to prevent the resin and alcohol from coming into contact with the skin, it is also crucial to wear safety glasses for the drops that may originate during the washing of the pieces.
