CR-Scan Ferret has a NIR light source (near-infrared) and counts with an ASIC deep computing chip. This ensures deep processing for megapixel images at 60 fps, about 10 times faster than general chips. CR-Scan Ferret can scan at a speed of 30 fps which allows to obtain 3D point cloud more quickly and enjoy greater scanning fluency. CR-Scan Ferret offers a resolution of 0.16 mm, an accuracy of 0.1 mm, a working distance of 150-170 mm, and a single capture range of 560 x 820 mm at 700 mm.

CR-Scan Ferret supports color texture scanning thanks to the built-in high resolution color camera. This means that the color of the scanned part is immediately picked up and faithfully represented in the rendered model. Apart from alignment by color, CR-Scan Ferret offers marker or feature alignment, as well as high quality scanning outdoors, even in bright sunlight. For the scanning of problematic objects (indented, specular, transparent or reflective), it is highly recommended to use the AESUB Transparent scanning spray.
