    One of the great revolutions of Markrforged is 3D printing with input of material. You can combine materials such as Nylon, Onyx, Carbon Fiber, Kevlar, Fiberglass and HSHT (fiberglass with high temperature resistance). In this way light and resistant pieces are obtained (mechanically and to the abrasion), with a force-weight ratio superior to the Aluminum 6061.

    In this way, machined parts made of metal can be replaced by composite parts reinforced with continuous fiber, for a cost up to 20 times lower. The Onyx construction material is resistant to most chemicals, oils and solvents. An incredible print resolution is achieved, close to those obtained in pieces by SLA or parts manufactured by injection.

    Carbon fiber continuous fiber parts support the most difficult applications. They allow to directly replace the machined aluminum with directly printed parts of the 3D printer, obtaining larger parts that are stronger and lighter.

    It has a laser tolerance control system to ensure high accuracy.

    The pieces obtained in the Mark X7 printer with the Onyx material can be used as final pieces, with a smooth surface and an elegant black color, without appreciating the layer height effect of standard FFF technology printers.

    Large pieces with great resolution

    Markforged Mark X7 has a large volume and high resolution printing. With printing dimensions of 330x270x200 mm (XYZ) and with a layer height of 50 microns of resolution, large pieces can be achieved with a large surface finish close to that of injection molded parts.

    Inspection process

    The Mark X7 professional 3D printer makes it possible to obtain pieces of unparalleled quality and precision. The parts of the parts can be scanned in half print using the cloud-based software "Eiger", and the laser displacement sensor placed on the print head. This inspection process allows to ensure the dimensional accuracy in the most critical tolerances at any point of the printing. If an error is detected, a warning will be sent and the printing can be canceled remotely, saving time and material.

By calibrating your measurements with extrusion readings to perfectly adjust the height of the nozzle and the active adjustment of the topography. With this, the prints are output exactly as desired.

    Software

    The Eiger cloud software incorporates a touch interface that makes it very easy to connect the 3D printer to the Wi-Fi, start printing and manage the 3D printer.

    All files can be stored and downloaded from the cloud with total security, without the need to download or install any program, in order to obtain an effective and high resistance printing. Due to confidentiality issues, the user may also have a local license to be installed on their computer.

    The Mark X7 3D printer allows you to pause and resume prints from the same point in a completely accurate way.

    The materials that can be used with Markforged Mark X7 3D printer for industrial quality are as follows:

    • Carbon fiber: It offers the highest resistance to weight and the highest thermal conductivity. Perfect for applications that require high rigidity and resistance.
    • Kevlar: It is the most flexible material and with the greatest resistance to abrasion. Ideal for durable and impact resistant parts.
    • Fiberglass: The most economical material, with the strength of carbon fiber, but with 40% stiffness and twice the weight. It is the right material for resistant parts.
    • HSHT Fiberglass (For high temperatures): It presents a high resistance and is ideal for parts that require to be in environments at a high temperature (Above 105ºC).
    • More resistant and durable than ABS and PLA. It has a low coefficient of friction and a high melting temperature. Ideal for parts such as gears and hinges.
    • Onyx: It presents the hardness of nylon and the rigidity of fiber-reinforced plastic, with a matt black finish. Ideal for applications that require high performance.

    The Mark X7 industrial 3D printer is therefore one of the most powerful in the 3D printing market FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) / Composite Filament Fabrication (CFF).

    The main differences in relation to its small counterpart (Markforged Mark Two), are firstly the largest print size, the precision laser control and the highest precision, since with the Markforged X7 you can obtain a layer height of 50 microns versus 100 microns for the Markforged Mark Two. In common they share that they can only print all the Markforged materials. The print volume of one with respect to the other of 2.5 times greater.
