BuildTak is a company based in New Jersey (USA) that is dedicated to the development, manufacture and distribution of products to ensure the adherence of the base of 3D FDM printers. Its star product is the BuildTak sheet, developed to cover the need to ensure the adhesion of materials prone to detachment from the base and to the warping effect. In addition, this sheet is made of high quality raw material and designed to withstand the high temperatures of the printing base typical in 3D printing FFF / FDM (110 ºC - 125 ºC).
BuildTak Flex Plate
With the evolution of the 3D printing sector and the possibility of producing final pieces it is essential to be able to remove the pieces from the base quickly and start a new manufacturing without delay. For this reason this American manufacturer developed the BuildTak FlexPlate system. This system consists of three specific components to eliminate the inconvenience of removing parts in the prints. On the one hand, there is the magnetic mounting base that adheres to the base of the 3D printer, on the other hand, FlexPlate on which the BuildTak sheet adheres, and that as a whole it is flexible which allows it to be folded to take off the printed pieces. These three components together comprise a system that makes the process of extracting printed parts easier than ever.
