    Smooth-On

Smooth-On, founded in 1895, is a leading manufacturer in the development and production of silicone rubber, polyurethane and plastic rubbers, rigid and flexible urethane foams, epoxies and other types of materials. Its production facilities are located in Macungie, Pennsylvania (USA), equipped with the most advanced technology.

Its R&D team and laboratory is the driving force behind the development of new products according to the specifications of each client. The development power of this laboratory translates into dozens of new products every year, which combined with a large production capacity, allows this company to bring products to the market faster and more efficiently.

    XTC-3D

XTC-3D is a liquid epoxy resin that is applied as a coating layer for smoothing and finishing 3D printed parts. XTC-3D consists of two liquids (A and B) that are mixed to produce the final product. The coating spreads evenly without leaving brush strokes. The working time is 10 minutes and the curing time is approximately 4 hours (depending on the mass and temperature). When XTC-3D dries, it leaves a hard and impact resistant finish. You can add colors and metal effects on top very easily. This coating can be sanded if you want to leave a completely smooth surface at the cost of reducing the glossy finish.
