However, it is not compatible with printers using previous systems, excluding the MK3S+, MINI+, MK2, MK3.5 series, or other accessories unrelated to the Nextruder technology.

  • Select the appropriate nozzle diameter for each application and check that the chosen reference is compatible with the Prusa printer hotend before installation.
  • Use standard brass nozzles mainly with non-abrasive filaments. For materials reinforced with carbon fiber, glass fiber or other abrasive fillers, a wear-resistant nozzle is recommended.
  • Periodically clean the outside of the nozzle to remove filament residue that could alter its thermal properties or affect print quality.
  • To clean adhered residue, heat the nozzle to approximately 250 °C for 3-5 minutes and carefully remove the softened material with a suitable brass brush.
