The Filasophia 3D printing adhesive Kit is designed to improve first-layer adhesion and make it easier to remove printed parts once the job is finished. It is a practical solution for users printing technical materials on 3D printers open frame and who need to reduce issues such as warping, layer separation, or parts detaching during long print jobs.

This kit includes a 100 ml adhesive and a 100 ml release liquid, providing a simple workflow without the need for additional accessories. It is especially useful for large-format prints or with demanding filaments such as ABS, Nylon, PC or PP.

Efficiency and cost-effectiveness: Euros per success, not per failure

The Filasophia system is optimized to maximize return on investment. While a failed technical part can result in significant losses, the cost of ensuring successful adhesion is minimal:

  • Kit price: Approximately €42 (100 ml kit).
  • Cost per application: Only €0.21.
  • Cost per avoided failure: Approximately €47 (in material and time savings).
  • Performance: One kit allows around 200 applications on a 150x150 mm surface.

Main features

  • Improves first-layer adhesion for materials such as PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, and Nylon, reducing failures from the very start of printing.
  • Makes part removal easier once printing is completed, preventing damage to the build surface.
  • Compatible with glass beds and metal surfaces used in 3D printers.
  • Helps reduce deformation, warping, and layer separation in technical and large-format prints.
  • Allows printing with carbon fiber (CF) and glass fiber (GF) reinforced filaments.
  • Combines adhesion and release in a single system to simplify the printing process.
  • Provides an approximate yield of 200 to 400 prints per kit, depending on usage and surface.

Material compatibility

The kit is compatible with a wide range of 3D printing materials:

Compatible material Filament type
PLA Standard filament
ABS Technical filament
ASA Outdoor technical filament
PETG Durable filament
TPU Flexible filament
TPE Flexible filament
PA / Nylon Engineering filament
PC Technical polycarbonate
PP Polypropylene
HIPS Support and technical material
PVC Specialized technical filament
PVDF Industrial filament
Carbon fiber (CF) materials Reinforced composites
Glass fiber (GF) materials Reinforced composites

When to use this 3D printing adhesive

The kit can be used on open 3D printers where maintaining stable adhesion with technical materials is usually more difficult. It also helps users looking for how to prevent warping in 3D printing or those who need a 3D printer open frame adhesive without relying on improvised solutions.

Filasophia Adhesive & Release Kit enables easy removal of 3D printed parts after long jobs or large-format prints, reducing the risk of damage to the part or the build plate.

Advantages over other adhesives

Unlike other products focused only on adhesion, this kit combines fixation and release in the same system. This simplifies build plate preparation and reduces errors related to excess adhesive or forced part removal.

For professional users and regular makers, it provides a more stable and controlled way of working with technical 3D printing filaments.

Other information

Package contents:

  • 1x Filasophia Adhesive 100 ml
  • 1x Filasophia Release 100 ml

1. Plate preparation

  • The surface must be smooth, clean, dry and grease-free.
  • Clean with isopropyl alcohol if necessary.

2. Adhesive application

  • Apply a thin and even layer using a spatula.
  • For demanding materials (ABS, ASA), apply a thicker layer for greater durability.

3. Thermal activation

  • Heat the plate to 85°C for 5–10 minutes.
  • Wait until the film is completely dry.
  • The appearance of smoke is normal during drying.
  • The process is ready when the smoke disappears.

4. Printing conditions

  • Reduce bed temperature if detachment occurs.
  • Reduce print speed if necessary.
  • Reduce extruder temperature in case of adhesion failure.
  • Reduce infill percentage if instability occurs.
  • First layer at 95°C and subsequent layers at 85°C as a reference.
  • For materials such as PVDF or POM, use a heated chamber.

5. Part removal

  • Let cool before removing the print.
  • Use Release Spray on the spatula, not directly on the part.
  • Remove carefully with a spatula.
  • Use gloves if the plate is hot.

6. Plate cleaning

  • Apply Release Spray over the entire surface.
  • Heat between 40–60°C.
  • Wait 30 seconds and remove the film with a spatula.
  • Clean with a cloth to remove residues.

7. Troubleshooting

Part detachment from adhesive

  • Ensure the film is completely dry.
  • Adjust printing temperatures.
  • Reduce speed and infill percentage.
  • Optimize first layer parameters.

Film detachment from the plate

  • Ensure a clean, grease-free surface.
  • Clean with isopropyl alcohol.
  • Apply a thicker layer.
  • Do not exceed 105°C without a closed chamber.
