Dimafix® is a fixative spray designed for FDM/FFF 3D printing technology with heated bed in order to eliminate the effect "warping". It is considered "intelligent" because its adhesion properties varies depending on the temperature used in the base of the 3D printed.
When ascending the temperature of the printer dock, Dimafix® adhesion increases. Using conventional lacquers fixed parts present deformations of up to 100 times higher than with respect to the pieces fixed with Dimafix®. Therefore, Dimafix® has a binding properties up to 100 times more than conventional lacquer, thereby minimizing deformation ("warping") printed in large parts or materials with many internal tensions. It has been tested successfully in materials which tend to warping effect as ABS, Nylon, FilaFlex, Polypropylene, HIPS, PVA, etc.

Another advantage that Dimafix® provides with respect to other conventional lacquers is that after printing the printed piece off automatically descend again to the temperature below 40C. It is also easy to wash the glass base as Dimafix® is soluble in water. Usually, each pot 400ml Dimafix® usually lasts for more than 100 uses.
